The evening of July 25, 2010, or simply Synthfest, was a rare moment in house show history. There was something in the air that fateful night at Jared Pettitt's house. And it was (nearly) well documented, friends.

Here are highlights from each set. Sadly for everyone who wasn't there to witness it, Thomas Tooke's set did not get recorded. This compilation is therefore dedicated to him.

And word has it that Synthfest Part Deux is in the works. Same place, last Sunday of this month.

Synthfest Sunday July 25

This Sunday, July 25, is SYNTHFEST. A bunch of fools will be playing synths, solo, at Jared Petit's house (is that how you spell your last name?). It starts at 7 pm at 2775 Electric Ave (AKA Dellwood Ave.) A few changes have been made to the lineup:
Chappaquiddick is not playing. Strange Fires is now playing (with Jon Snider).

Come to the above address at 7 pm Sunday. You will not regret it.

Show July 11 at Lomax

On Sunday July 11, Chappaquiddick plays with local bros Sunday Cervix and Heavy Flow at Lomax Lodge. Also Menya, from New York, is performing.

In addition, the Chappaquiddick self titled debut is complete and will be ready for release by the show. It will be released for free on tape cassette and digital download. You may pay whatever you'd like for it if you wish to support us.

This show is not a record release party for Chappaquiddick. It is only a convenient venue to pass out some tapes to anyone who wants one.
